
A Poteau family is reeling after a weekend shooting left a mother and daughter dead and the woman’s twin brother in handcuffs hundreds of miles away.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said 31-year-old Gabrielle Wilson and her 17-year-old daughter were found shot inside a Poteau home on Saturday. Investigators identified the suspect as Gabrielle’s twin brother, Grant Wilson. Authorities said Wilson was later spotted driving near Atlanta, Georgia, where a short pursuit ended with his arrest. He is expected to be extradited to LeFlore County to face criminal charges, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
According to 5NEWS, the shootings happened Saturday at a residence in Poteau. The outlet reports that OSBI agents later located Grant Wilson driving near Atlanta before a brief chase ended with his arrest, and that he faces two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the killings.
