Federal marshals are putting up a cash reward for information that leads to the arrest of a fugitive tied to the Cleveland area. Authorities have identified the man as 42-year-old Dwayne Burke, described as about 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing roughly 210 pounds.
According to Cleveland 19, the U.S. Marshals-led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force says Burke "is known to frequent the Cleveland area" and is wanted for a supervised release violation. The station reports that the photo and identification details were supplied by the U.S. Marshals.
How to report tips
Anyone with information is asked to call 1-866-4WANTED (1-866-492-6833) or submit a web tip through the U.S. Marshals Service tip portal. Tipsters who use the portal receive a unique tip number and can remain anonymous, per the U.S. Marshals Service.
Why authorities lean on rewards
The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force routinely offers rewards to spark new leads and coordinate with local law enforcement. The unit has made thousands of arrests over the years and, in 2025, surpassed 60,000 captures, as documented in reporting based on a U.S. Marshals release.
Legal note
Cleveland 19 notes that Burke is wanted for a supervised release violation, which is the basis for federal marshals handling the case. Authorities are warning the public not to approach the suspect and to pass any credible tips directly to the task force.
