Woody's Hideaway is set to move into the Bayway Village shopping center along Interstate 45 in Webster this December, bringing golf bays, karaoke rooms, yard games and a massive video wall to a corner of Gulf Freeway that already knows how to have a good time. From the same crew behind Little Woodrow’s, the new spot is being pitched as a game-day home base for the Clear Lake–Webster crowd.
According to the Houston Chronicle, the Webster location will cover more than 13,000 square feet and features a 300-foot video wall, 100-inch TVs, pool tables, dart boards, ping pong and other games. The paper also notes that the kitchen lineup will include a smash burger, fries and "philly pggrolls," with the bar pouring cocktails, wine and beer.
What to Expect Inside
According to Woody's Hideaway, the concept bills itself as "your premier game-centric bar and game day headquarters," highlighting golf simulators, pool, corn hole and a roster of other games across its venues. The site lists Midland and a Houston Kirkwood spot among its existing locations and promotes private bookings and events for groups looking to camp out for a big game or party.
"It is the perfect place for us to continue growing with Woody's Hideaway," Woody's Brands CEO Bob Wilson said in a release, according to the Houston Chronicle. Company materials describe the Webster outpost as a show-stopping audio-visual game-day headquarters geared toward groups and watch parties.
Membership Perks
A Hideaway Social Club membership will unlock discounts, limited-edition gear, early notice about events and other member-only benefits. The Woody's Hideaway membership page outlines special-event access, member-only specials and priority updates on tap lists and new menu drops.
Where It Fits in Webster
The Hideaway will land in the middle of an already busy retail and restaurant stretch along Gulf Freeway. Little Woodrow's already operates a Webster outpost at 20251 Gulf Freeway, Suite H, per the chain’s locations page. Little Woodrow's lists the Webster address and phone, underscoring the brand's existing foothold in the area that Woody's Hideaway is now set to build on.
