Radnor Township police say a woman shopping at the TJ Maxx on East Lancaster Avenue was sexually assaulted in an aisle on Saturday, April 18, and that store security and nearby officers helped get a suspect into custody almost immediately.
What police say
According to the Radnor Township Police Department, the incident happened inside the TJ Maxx on the 500 block of East Lancaster Avenue and was reported to store security that same day. The victim told investigators she was grabbed while she was shopping in an aisle.
Police say officers took a man into custody at the scene and are asking any other possible victims or witnesses to contact the department as the investigation continues.
Arrest and charges
6abc identified the suspect as 44-year-old Sinan Tuzer and reported that officers were already patrolling the store parking lot when security escorted the man outside and police arrested him.
Tuzer was charged with indecent assault and disorderly contact, according to Patch. The station also reported that he was released on the indecent assault charge. Investigators have said the incident appears to be isolated as they continue reviewing evidence and speaking with witnesses.

Police say the incident took place at the Wayne/St. Davids TJ Maxx, located at 550 East Lancaster Avenue. TJ Maxx lists the store address as 550 E. Lancaster Ave., Wayne, PA 19087.
