A late-night clothing sale outside an Aurora home turned violent Saturday when a man was shot while trying to sell items in front of his residence, police said. He was hit once, and family members rushed him to a hospital. Officers did not learn about the incident until the victim arrived at the emergency department and walked in for treatment.
Police: Clothing Deal With Three Men Turns Violent
According to Aurora police, the victim had arranged to meet three unidentified men who pulled up in a vehicle on the 1100 block of South Sable Boulevard. Investigators believe the suspects were armed. Officers first made contact with the victim around 10:45 p.m., after he came into the hospital as a walk-in patient with a gunshot wound, as reported by KDVR.
