Noble 33 is planting a serious culinary flag at the Rosewood Residences Beverly Hills, with a two-concept Japanese steakhouse and izakaya set for the building's ground floor. The roughly 12,000-square-foot venue is expected to debut in 2027, putting a major new dining room just steps from the city's Golden Triangle. Under one roof, the plan pairs Noble 33's theatrical steakhouse experience with a more casual, late-night izakaya program.
As detailed in a press release from PR Newswire, the "one restaurant, two concept" project will occupy the street-level space at 9900 S. Santa Monica Blvd. Noble 33 co-founders Mikey Tanha and Tosh Berman said the dual concepts will mark the group's first Japanese-inspired restaurant. "With 12,000 square feet, the space allows us to fully execute the design vision," Berman said.
L.A. Business First first reported the news on April 6, 2026, noting that the restaurant is slated to open in 2027 as a signature amenity for the boutique Rosewood Residences. The Business First piece covering the announcement was authored by Isabel Sami.
Design and dual-concept layout
Noble 33's in-house design team, led by Berman, plans interiors that mix traditional Japanese motifs with a bold contemporary point of view: warm layered wood paneling, coffered ceilings, a central bar, and an open sushi counter, while private nooks are set to be framed by shoji screens and curated displays. The firm says the layout is meant to create theatrical moments that work for both fine-dining steak service and a more relaxed izakaya menu, including small plates and ramen. PR Newswire shared renderings and additional design notes.
What it means for Beverly Hills dining
Rosewood Residences Beverly Hills opened as the brand's first standalone residences in California and positions the building as a luxury address where on-site hospitality is part of the product, according to Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. Adding a 12,000-square-foot public restaurant at street level underscores a growing practice among branded residences of offering high-end dining that caters to both owners and neighbors.
Noble 33 said it will share menus, opening dates, and booking details as construction progresses, and directed interested diners to its website for updates. For renderings and developer contacts, see Noble 33 and the Rosewood Residences project page at 9900SantaMonica.com.
