The story behind the space stretches back a bit. Marty and Marilyn Englander bought the bar from Will Churchill and Corrie Watson in 2019 and later rebranded Kent & Co. Daily happy hour runs from 3 to 5 p.m., with $8 wine glasses and well drinks, $10 batch cocktails, $5 beer and $15 charcuterie boards on the specials list, and the bottomless popcorn is still very much in play, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. The paper also reports that the bar has booked Brad Thompson on Fridays and La Bell on Saturdays for the last few weekends, giving locals a soundtrack for those final toasts before the May 16 shutdown.
