A 21-year-old security guard was beaten, stabbed, and hit with pepper spray after stepping in to break up an argument outside a CityMD urgent care clinic in the Mount Eden section of the Bronx, according to police. The assault happened at about 2:30 p.m. on April 14. Medics took the guard to Lincoln Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. Investigators say a man and a woman carried out the attack and then took off in a white Kia SUV.
As reported by the New York Daily News, the pair allegedly pepper-sprayed the guard, then punched and kicked him in the face before one of them stabbed him in the back with an unidentified sharp object. Police identified the victim as 21 and said he was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where doctors listed him in stable condition.

NYPD Releases Images, Asks for Tips
