
A Bullhead City motorcyclist was killed Saturday evening in a solo crash on Highway 95 near Rainbow Drive, shutting down the roadway as investigators worked into the evening.
According to the Bullhead City Police Department, the rider was identified as 64-year-old Tracy Wayne Hevern of Bullhead City. Hevern was transported to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. Police said the wreck involved only his motorcycle, with no other vehicles at the scene, and the exact cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Investigation Underway
Detectives have not yet released details about what might have contributed to the crash as they continue their on-scene reconstruction and follow-up work. Single-vehicle motorcycle wrecks account for a significant share of deadly and serious crashes in the region, with recurring issues that include lane departures, nighttime collisions and speeding, according to the Western Arizona Council of Governments' 2025 Strategic Transportation Safety Plan.

Hevern was taken to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center in Bullhead City, which operates a 24-hour emergency department. The hospital lists its main campus at 2735 Silver Creek Road, according to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center. Family members and others seeking information have been directed to contact the hospital or Bullhead City Police for updates.
