Joe & the Juice is officially headed for Uptown Park, bringing the Copenhagen-born juice and coffee chain to Houston in what will be its first-ever Texas location. The new shop is set to feature both indoor and outdoor seating and is pitched as a natural fit for the center's growing health-and-wellness lineup. EDENS, which owns and operates Uptown Park, has not pinned down a firm opening date yet.
According to the Houston Chronicle, EDENS said in a press release that Joe & the Juice will take a spot at Uptown Park and create a "place where the customer just wants to spend time," in the words of director of leasing Brandon Schawe. The Chronicle highlights menu favorites such as the JOE's Identity juice and the Feel Good blend, and notes that the concept lines up with Uptown Park's broader push to land more wellness-focused tenants.

As reported by QSR Magazine, Joe & the Juice has announced an aggressive U.S. growth plan that calls for roughly 100 new stores over an 18-month period. That kind of expansion helps explain why the brand, long clustered in East Coast and West Coast metros as well as Chicago, is now making moves into Sun Belt cities such as Houston.

Uptown Park lists its address as 1121 Uptown Park Blvd, putting the incoming shop in the heart of the Galleria and Uptown retail corridor. The center already mixes national and local restaurants and boutiques, and Joe & the Juice is set to add another quick, wellness-minded option for nearby office workers and shoppers.
Timing and what to watch
EDENS' announcement did not include a specific opening date for Joe & the Juice. The Houston Chronicle notes that another tenant, Uptown Sporting Bar, is targeting a late-May opening at the center, signaling that buildouts and permitting activity are already ramping up on site.
