The Main Street staple relaunched this week as Sociedad, reopening Friday with a fresh interior, an expanded lineup of tequila and mezcal, and a retooled, Mexican-focused menu. Regulars can relax, though: the live music and karaoke that helped anchor the spot’s nightlife are still on the schedule.
New name, new menu
According to Community Impact, Sociedad’s food now leans into stacked enchiladas, steak ranchero, smoky chicken tinga, nachos, and brisket BBQ tacos. The relaunch also brought a reset of the bar program, with a bigger tequila and mezcal list designed to match the heartier, more focused plates. Community Impact notes the business officially reopened on Friday under the new name.
Hours, reservations and the look
Alcove Cantina lists updated hours, a reservations option, and images of the refreshed interior, including new bar shelving and seating. The site confirms the venue is still operating at 119 E. Main St. in downtown Round Rock and that it continues to offer online ordering and gift cards.
