
Two people were injured in a stabbing on East Lancaster Avenue in Fort Worth yesterday, and police say the suspect is still on the loose. Officers and medics rolled up just as the afternoon rush was easing and found both victims with wounds that were not considered life-threatening. Both were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, officers were dispatched to the intersection of East Lancaster Avenue and South Sargent Street at about 3:15 p.m., where they located the two injured people. Investigators described the victims' injuries as non-life-threatening, and detectives are canvassing the surrounding blocks while searching for a suspect, reporter Lillie Davidson noted in the paper's breaking-news update.

The Fort Worth Police Department lists a non-emergency line at 817-392-4222 for people who might have information, and investigators say anyone with video or eyewitness details should call. East Lancaster has seen recent violence
The stretch of East Lancaster has been the scene of other violent incidents this year, including a January drive-by shooting near the same transfer-station corridor, local coverage shows.
