East Side Street Turns Crime Scene as Man Found Shot Dead

A quiet stretch of Center Street on San Antonio’s East Side turned into a homicide scene early Wednesday, after officers responding to calls of gunfire found a man shot to death just after 1 a.m. between North Walters and North Gevers. Police discovered numerous shell casings scattered on the street, and no arrests had been reported as of early Wednesday.

According to News 4 San Antonio, officers arrived to find the victim and quickly locked down the block, with crime scene tape and patrol units lining the area while investigators got to work.
