Sovian Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge quietly opened April 7 in the Summit at Rivery Park, bringing a white-tablecloth European-style steakhouse, a cocktail lounge, an outdoor patio, and private event space to the fast-growing development. The menu centers on wood-fired steaks and Mediterranean seafood, and chef-owner Vira Chudasma, already known locally for La Riv Wood Fired Italian, is steering the whole operation as a higher-end addition to Georgetown’s dining scene.
As reported by Community Impact, Sovian describes itself as a European-style steakhouse drawing inspiration from Italy and France and officially opened on April 7 at 1500 Rivery Blvd., Suite 2175. The outlet notes that the venue includes a traditional dining room, an outdoor patio, a lounge, and private event space.

The site also highlights a craft cocktail program and an approximately 2,100-bottle wine cellar to handle the pairing duties.
