Tracked To Florida, Returned To Ulster County
According to Daily Voice, investigators followed leads to Clay County, Florida, where Carman was located and taken into custody as a fugitive from justice. He was extradited and brought back to New York on April 13, 2026, and is being held at the Ulster County Jail. Officials say he is scheduled for arraignment in Ulster County Court on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
Victim Identified As Ellenville Mother Of Two
The victim was identified as 29-year-old Nicole Izabella Perez. As reported by the Times Union, Perez was discovered around 8:29 p.m. on March 31 during a welfare check at her Clinton Avenue residence. Ellenville Mayor Evan Trent told the outlet, "It's shocking," as the village struggles to process the loss.
