Sunday night stays mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms and a low near 76 degrees. Monday and Tuesday bring highs near 89, heat index values as high as 103 and another round of coastal showers followed by inland afternoon storms.
The unsettled pattern continues through Saturday, with highs rising from around 90 Wednesday and Thursday to 91 Friday and 93 Saturday. Beachgoers should also note the moderate rip current risk, as onshore winds and surf around 2 to 3 feet keep conditions hazardous near the water.
