The updated timing was confirmed in an email to local reporters, according to Community Impact. State records had previously listed an April 30, 2026, completion date for the project, per the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation’s project page at TDLR. That registration describes a 3,214-square-foot new construction at the Williams Drive site.
Where It Stands Now
Bojangles has been on an expansion push outside its Carolina base, and the company reports more than 800 restaurants in 17 states, according to Business Wire. The brand opened its first Austin-area restaurant in Manor on Jan. 20, 2026, according to a company announcement from Bojangles. Georgetown’s store is part of that same rollout, just now on a slower clock.
