Craving fried chicken on your Beltway 8 run just got a little easier. Golden Chick quietly opened a new Pearland-area restaurant Tuesday at 11418 S. Sam Houston Parkway E., adding another suburban outpost to the chain's growing Houston footprint and giving commuters one more drive-thru to consider on the way home.
According to Community Impact, the brand announced the location in an April 7 news release and lists the restaurant as open as of early April. The outlet notes Golden Chick was founded in 1967 and serves fried chicken, tenders, sandwiches, salads and Southern-style sides.
