Commerce City is about to get its own all-weather fairway, as Third Round Social moves in with golf simulators, a full restaurant and a serious sweet tooth.
The new eatertainment concept pairs high-tech golf bays with a sit-down dining experience and a slate of group games, including shuffleboard and interactive darts. A full ice cream bar and a chef-driven menu are also in the mix, with plans already underway to build out the space near East 104th Avenue.
According to the Denver Business Journal, the Commerce City location is expected to open this summer. The outlet reports that the food program will be led by chef Luke Ostrowski, with dessert handled through a partnership with Little Man Ice Cream. The Business Journal previously flagged the lease and operator details earlier in the week.
What to Expect
On its website, Third Round Social brands itself as "EAT | PLAY | DRINK" and lists a Q2 2026 arrival for the Commerce City spot. The site highlights simulator bays and spaces designed for groups, signaling a hangout that leans as much on social energy as it does on swing mechanics.
Project documents from engineering firm Reno James Engineering describe the buildout as a family entertainment center that will include golf simulators, a shuffleboard court, and a full ice cream bar, reinforcing the idea that this is as much for kids and casual players as it is for serious golfers working on their game.
Where It's Going
City filings show the operator has applied for a hotel-restaurant liquor license for 18494 E 104th Ave, Unit 130, in the Reunion Village retail plaza. The City of Commerce City posted a public hearing notice in March listing the application and a March 10 hearing date, signaling the project is working through the final rounds of local approvals.
Who's Cooking and Hiring
The Denver Business Journal reports that chef Luke Ostrowski will head up the menu and that Little Man Ice Cream will run the dessert bar, which should give the food and sweets a bit of name recognition out of the gate.
On the operations side, hiring appears to be underway. Job postings indicate Third Round Social is recruiting for culinary leadership roles in Commerce City ahead of opening. Listings on Indeed include an Executive Chef position tied to the Commerce City location.
How This Fits a National Trend
The Commerce City outpost is part of a broader wave of "eatertainment" projects that mix food, drink and interactive sports, a corner of the hospitality world that has drawn significant investment in recent years. National coverage has followed the rise of indoor golf and simulator-driven venues as brands try to make golf more approachable and keep customers coming back to shopping centers and mixed-use developments, according to CNBC.
Locally, developers say the Reunion Village project is banking on that same draw, aiming to use Third Round Social as an anchor for the new plaza while adding another option for Commerce City residents who want more than just another standard night out.
