One person was shot Saturday in southeast Charlotte and rushed to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, authorities said. The gunfire broke out in the 6000 block of Pineburr Road, just off Monroe Road, in a residential stretch of the city's Southeast division. Police taped off the street while emergency crews worked the scene and investigators began their probe.
As reported by WCNC, MEDIC confirmed the victim was transported with life-threatening injuries and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police have opened an investigation.
