Gunfire rattled Baltimore's Franklin Square neighborhood Friday evening, leaving a 44-year-old man wounded and police searching for answers.
Officers were called around 6:17 p.m. on April 10 to the 200 block of N. Gilmor Street, where they found the man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition, according to police.
Police are seeking tips
According to FOX45 News, detectives responded to the scene and opened an investigation into the shooting. Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact the detectives working the case.
Another shooting on Gilmor Street this month
This latest incident follows a March 18 shooting on the 300 block of N. Gilmor Street that left a 40-year-old man dead and a 44-year-old man critically injured, as reported by CBS Baltimore. That earlier attack prompted a homicide investigation and has drawn added scrutiny to violence along the corridor.
