Hacienda Don José has officially joined the FM 1463 boom, opening a new Fulshear location at 4020 FM 1463 on March 26 and taking over the strip-center space that previously housed Neca’s Mexican Restaurant & Cantina. The latest outpost brings the chain’s Tex‑Mex staples and weekend breakfasts to one of the area’s busiest stretches of roadway.
Management confirmed the opening, and Community Impact reports that diners can expect carne del mar, enchiladas poblanas and fish CancFancun, along with weekend breakfast plates such as french toast, omelettes and chilaquiles. The outlet also lists March 26 as the Fulshear location’s opening date.
According to Hacienda Don José, the Fulshear page shows the address at 4020 FM 1463 and a contact number of 832AD437AD0847, and lists hours that include early weekend service. The site also highlights catering packages and a banquet room available for private events at the new spot.
Why FM 1463 matters
The FM 1463 corridor has become a magnet for new retail and restaurants as Fulshear and nearby Katy keep adding rooftops, and the constant roadwork out front has reshaped traffic patterns for anyone trying to do business along the route. Coverage from Community Impact and other local outlets has chronicled how the construction has tested residents’ patience.
Local reporting such as ABC13 Houston notes that TxDOT's multiyear widening project ADADADADAD, part of roughly a $108 million effort on FM 1463, is expected to wrap in late 2026 or early 2027. That long-running construction has, at times, complicated openings but has not stopped operators from snapping up space along the road.
The addition of Hacienda Don José gives Fulshear residents another sitADdown TexADMex option as the corridor fills in with new stores and services. For the latest menu details and hours, Hacienda Don José has current information.
