Franchisee Chadwick told 9News that "Colorado guests have really embraced the plate lunch," while company representatives pointed to his steady expansion across the region. According to 9News, the new Broadmoor shop joins existing L&L locations already serving the Denver metro and Boulder areas.

L&L builds its menu around Hawaii’s plate-lunch tradition, typically two scoops of rice, a scoop of house-made macaroni salad and a choice of entrée, as described on the chain’s menu materials.
