Moon Wolf Provisions, the desert-inspired coffee and goods concept that started life as a roaming trailer, has finally put down roots at 920 Custer Road in Richardson. Owner Richie Conry has transformed a long-vacant rental-car office into a warm, earth-toned café and compact market built out with upcycled furniture, local art and handmade displays. The Den, as the new space is called, will serve espresso, cold brew, pastries and a rotating mix of maker goods, along with pop-ups and community events.
Trailer roots and desert design
“I always wanted to have a little café; 20 years ago, I was drawing this concept in a sketchbook,” Conry said, and that sketchbook energy shows up all over the room in layered textiles, a deer-head wall mount and handbuilt benches. Much of the interior was crafted or upcycled by Conry himself, and an antique 1800s worktable will serve as the merchandise display. Those details were reported by CultureMap Dallas.
Menu and roasters
Moon Wolf’s bar keeps the trailer’s lineup of classics on the board, including espresso, cappuccino, latte and cortado, and adds specialties such as matcha and an organic turmeric gold latte. The café lists its offerings and pricing on its menu, and the site confirms that coffee is locally roasted by Eiland Coffee Roasters while pastries arrive daily from La Casita Bakeshop. See Moon Wolf Provisions for the full lineup and pricing.
Bagels, brisket and a makers’ market
For food, Moon Wolf has teamed up with Starship Bagel to offer select bagels and spreads, including a collaboration brisket option topped with cheddar, jalapeños and BBQ sauce. CultureMap Dallas also reports the shop will source beans from local roaster Liaise Coffees, and that drinks will be crafted with housemade syrups and a rotating slate of seasonal specials. The “Provisions” market will stock artisanal mugs, T-shirts, bags, oils and incense made by local makers. Starship’s local reputation has been profiled by Eater Dallas.
Events, opening timeline and what to expect
Moon Wolf’s events page lists a mid-March 2026 grand-opening celebration with live music, local makers and free coffee, and it teases a spring calendar packed with pop-ups, art nights and wellness events. Community Impact first reported the project in October 2025, when Conry was initially aiming for a mid-December opening, suggesting the build-out pushed the schedule forward. If the current timeline holds, Richardson is about to get a neighborhood den focused on craft coffee, maker goods and community gatherings.
Whether the Den opens in mid-March or slips a bit later, Moon Wolf’s mix of West Texas-inspired design, locally roasted coffee and rotating collaborations is set to add a new, handmade layer to the Custer Road corridor. Keep an eye on the shop’s site and event listings for final opening-day details.
