Juicy Seafood and Bar is steering its next crab boil straight into Irving, taking over the former On the Border spot at the entrance to Irving Towne Center. The D-FW chain will fill about 5,600 square feet at 3410 W. Airport Freeway and is targeting an opening in early 2027, adding yet another seafood boil option along the busy airport corridor and growing its footprint in the metro.
As reported by The Dallas Morning News, the Irving location will be the restaurant’s fifth area outpost. The outlet notes Juicy is aiming for a February 2027 debut and quotes owner MD Wang calling Irving a “very vibrant and growing community.”
What To Expect From The Menu
Juicy has built its name on boil-style seafood, the kind of heaping platters where shellfish pile in with corn, potatoes, sausage and eggs all tossed together. Diners can also expect fried calamari, loaded seafood fries, steamed mussels and other shareable plates.
The chain’s website lists its current D-FW locations and full menus; head to Juicy Seafood & Bar for the latest details.
Where It Sits In Irving
The Dallas Morning News report places the new restaurant at the front of Irving Towne Center near Dallas Love Field and retailers such as Target, Potbelly, Paris Baguette and Chili’s. The former On the Border corner slot gives Juicy a prominent perch on the Airport Freeway corridor that draws both travelers and neighborhood traffic.
Timeline And Next Steps
With a February 2027 target on the board, the long lead up will be filled with permitting, tenant improvements and staffing before Juicy starts ladling boil sauce and opening its bar. We’ll monitor permit filings and signage as the landlord and operator get the space ready for service.
