A Monday morning turned violent inside a south Everett home when three people were stabbed, leaving two in critical condition and a third with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. Residents were able to detain a 24-year-old man until deputies reached the scene after he allegedly forced his way into the home and began attacking multiple people.
What happened
Deputies responded just after 9 a.m. to a reported burglary at a home near 112th Street Southwest and SR-99, according to FOX 13 Seattle. The outlet reports that two victims were rushed to Providence Medical Center in Everett in critical condition, while a third victim also received medical treatment.
Neighbors detain suspect
As KIRO 7 reports, deputies said the 24-year-old man was known to the residents and was held at the scene until law enforcement arrived. Officials have not released the suspect’s name and have not provided any information about a possible motive.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation remains active and that detectives were still processing the scene, FOX 13 Seattle reports.
