Motorcycle Safety Context
Motorcycle crashes account for a disproportionately high share of traffic deaths nationally, and in single-vehicle wrecks investigators routinely look at factors such as speed, impairment and roadway conditions. Per SafeTREC, recent traffic-safety reports show motorcyclist deaths have numbered in the thousands in recent years, underscoring just how vulnerable riders are on public roads.
