A 19-year-old Massillon resident was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Finefrock Road SW early Tuesday morning, authorities said. The wreck was found on the bridge just west of Erie Street South, and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
The Stark County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 19-year-old Trenton Campbell and said he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to The Repository. Officials did not immediately release additional details about how the collision unfolded.
Investigators believe the crash occurred at about 6:30 a.m., while emergency crews were called to the scene around 7:48 a.m. The collision is described as having taken place on the bridge just west of Erie Street South, as reported by Jordan Miller News. Authorities say the investigation is active and more information will be released as it becomes available.

Massillon police and the Stark County Coroner are leading the inquiry into the early-morning wreck, and officials say crash details remain limited while they process the scene, according to The Repository.
