Panicafe, the European-style cafe known for buttery medialunas and a proper afternoon-tea service, has slipped into Montgomery’s Pine Market with a new outpost that is more “let’s linger over tea” than “rush-hour breakfast scramble.” Joining the brand’s Spring and The Woodlands locations, the Pine Market shop leans into freshly baked pastries, salads and curated tea sets, all in a space designed to feel calmer than the area’s busier morning hotspots.
As reported by Community Impact, manager Florence Young, who trained and worked as a pastry chef, said the cafe focuses on “comfort food made in a healthy way” and called the medialuna the brand’s signature pastry. The outlet notes that Panicafe has been bringing its classic tearoom concept from Europe to Texas in recent years, starting in Spring and The Woodlands before landing in Pine Market.
Menu highlights
Per Panicafe, the Homemade Medialuna is listed at $5.87, while the Chicken Caesar Salad comes in at $13.80. Tea-time sets include a $49 Light Afternoon Tea and a $67 Classic Afternoon Tea. The lineup mixes artisan bakery staples like croissants and scones with sandwiches, salads and pots of specialty tea intended for unhurried visits. Coffee and other specialty drinks are on hand for anyone who prefers a grab-and-go stop to a full-on tea ritual.
Tearoom atmosphere
Young told Community Impact that the tearooms are the biggest draw and that “our customers are 95% women.” She credited the elegant, conversation-friendly setup for attracting groups who want a relaxed space to catch up over tea and pastries instead of shouting over clattering plates.
For addresses, hours, reservations and online ordering, Panicafe lists all three Texas shops along with current daily hours. The site also includes a reservations page for the Woodlands tea room and an online menu with prices and tea packages.
