A weekend ride through New Vernon Township ended in tragedy Saturday night when a Greenville man was killed in a UTV crash along a rural stretch of Billy Boyd Road. Investigators said the driver failed to negotiate a curve, sending the off-road side-by-side into a ditch and an embankment before it overturned. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
What State Police Said
Pennsylvania State Police later identified the driver as 42-year-old Chad Bromley and said the crash happened around 8:56 p.m. on Saturday, according to WPXI. Troopers told the station the UTV went off the roadway, struck a ditch and an embankment, then flipped.
