A 911 caller reported an unresponsive woman by a bridge near Tollar Road at 9:26 a.m. Deputies later located an adult female at a nearby area described as a known transient camp, where she was pronounced dead with upper-body trauma. Authorities have not released her name or an official cause of death.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, the agency’s 911 Dispatch Center received the call at 9:26 a.m. Sunday. Responding deputies found the woman at what the post described as a “known transient camp,” where she was suffering from “upper body trauma.”
The sheriff’s office said detectives have the area contained while they continue their investigation. No additional details about what may have led up to the woman’s death were provided.
