An 18-year-old woman was grazed in the back of the neck early Tuesday during a drive-by shooting on San Antonio’s Southwest Side, a jarring burst of gunfire that sent detectives searching for clues near Hayden Drive and Old Pearsall Road just after 5 a.m. She was taken to a hospital and is expected to recover, and investigators say they pulled dozens of shell casings from the scene.

According to WOAI, someone drove past and opened fire at a home in the area, grazing the 18-year-old in the back of the neck. Officers combed the neighborhood and recovered dozens of shell casings.
