According to CBS News, Aubrey police said the 911 call came in around 11:30 p.m. from a house on Thoroughbred Drive near Belmont Drive. The caller told dispatchers he had two female hostages and weapons inside the home. When officers arrived, they spotted a broken window, set up a perimeter, and activated the department's Special Operations Response Team. The caller then hung up and did not answer follow-up calls, which pushed the situation into full standoff mode.
