According to First Coast News, Jacksonville Fire and Rescue officials said the injured adult was transported to a hospital with injuries considered non-life-threatening, and a Jacksonville Sheriff's Office spokesperson confirmed officers responded to a report of a person shot at the Riverview Apartments. The outlet reported investigators were on scene at the complex as crews began processing evidence.
Investigators on Caravan Circle
Action News Jax reported investigators were working in the 300 block of Caravan Circle and had cordoned off portions of the property while detectives canvassed for witnesses. News4JAX photographers also noted what appeared to be bullet holes in the window of one unit as evidence markers were placed around the parking lot.
