The Arizona Department of Public Safety says the crash happened around 5 a.m. on U.S. 60 at 211th Avenue and involved a car and a semi-truck. Troopers found one person dead at the scene and have not yet released the victim's identity. The cause of the collision remains under investigation, according to FOX 10 Phoenix.

Westbound U.S. 60 was shut down at 203rd Avenue, while eastbound lanes were closed at 211th Avenue as crews responded and worked to clear the wreckage.
