Brighton Nutrition, an offshoot of Ypsilanti Nutrition, is gearing up to open in the Grand Crossing shopping plaza on East Grand River Avenue, taking over the former Healthy's of Brighton space. The concept centers on protein-packed shakes and energizing teas, and while there is no official opening date yet, the brand's social feed is already teasing a "coming soon" launch.
According to WhatNow, the Brighton shop is slated for 9864 E. Grand River Ave., Unit #200, with Jamie Craig, operator of Ypsilanti Nutrition, listed as the owner. WhatNow's report notes that the original Ypsilanti spot opened in 2022 and that the Brighton menu appears to closely mirror that first location.
Maps and local listings put Ypsilanti Nutrition at Mapcarta's listed address of 1338 Anna J. Stepp Drive in Ypsilanti, where it operates as a compact, drink-focused cafe. That hometown menu is expected to serve as the template for Brighton's new outpost.

Per WhatNow, Brighton Nutrition is promoting chocolate-forward protein shakes and fruit-based "energizer" teas, with shakes advertised at roughly 24 grams of protein per serving. Local business listings for the Ypsilanti shop show a similar, beverage-first lineup rather than a full food menu.
Where It Will Be
The new shop will join the tenant mix at Brixmor's Grand Crossing center on the south side of East Grand River Avenue, a strip anchored by Busch's Fresh Food Market and also home to Crumbl Cookies and Mancino's Pizza & Grinders.
