Romanaccia has slipped onto Cahuenga Boulevard in Hollywood this month, quietly firing up Roman-style pies for the neighborhood. The counter-service pizzeria specializes in al taglio pizza, the rectangular, by-the-cut slices baked from long-fermented dough that are a staple in Rome, and it brings that format to Hollywood's late-night crowd with a compact lineup of both classic and playful toppings.

According to What Now Los Angeles, the team eased in with a soft opening on April 9 before officially opening to the public on April 18. The concept comes from Roman-born entrepreneur Luca Tartaglia, while executive pizza chef Alessandro Scuderi handled pies at the soft opening and continues to run the kitchen.

Romanaccia serves Roman-style pizza al taglio by the slice and by the tray, with options that include Cacio e Pepe, Carbonara and a Nutella-topped dessert slice, per Romanaccia.
