A suspect was taken into custody at the scene and booked into the Trumbull County Jail, according to the department. The case is being handled by Detective John P. Greaver and is logged under incident number 26-06443.
In a press release posted to the department’s Facebook page, Chief Eric Merkel formally labeled the case a homicide and said responding officers located the deceased victim inside the residence, with Detective John P. Greaver listed as the lead investigator, according to the Warren Police Department.
