San Francisco’s spring Restaurant Week is back on the calendar from April 10 to 19, serving up prix-fixe deals all over town. The 10-day run features more than 200 participating restaurants, from neighborhood standbys to splurge-worthy tasting rooms. Menus range from budget-friendly $10 lunches and brunches to $90 multi-course dinners, giving diners plenty of ways to eat their way across the city.
According to the official San Francisco Restaurant Week site, participating restaurants are offering brunch and lunch menus at $10, $15, $25, $35 and $45, and dinner menus at $30, $45, $60, $75 and $90. The site also confirms the April 10 to 19 dates and lists the full restaurant roster, which diners can filter by neighborhood, cuisine and price.
Standouts and sample menus
The lineup mixes neighborhood favorites with destination dining rooms. As reported by The Mercury News, Chotto Matte is rolling out a $35 five-course lunch and a $60 seven-course dinner, both featuring sea bass ceviche and passion-fruit crème brûlée. Crustacean is on board with a $45 lunch and $75 dinner featuring orange-peel chicken and filet mignon, shaken beef. Other highlighted spots include A16, Nopa Fish and Mersea, which is putting a $25 lunch special on the menu on Treasure Island.
How to plan your Restaurant Week runs
Menus and reservation links are live on the event site and on each restaurant’s own booking page, so it is worth checking individual listings before you head out. Festival organizers recommend making reservations for dinner and suggest confirming details like takeout options, outdoor seating and any time limits in advance, guidance that is echoed on the official San Francisco Restaurant Week site. If you are chasing value, many places put special emphasis on the $45 dinner tier and under.
For bargain hunters, the $45 dinner tier remains the sweet spot. The Mercury News reports that at least 70 restaurants are offering dinners at $45 or less, making it a handy filter when you are booking. For a full list of participating menus and to search by neighborhood, you can also turn to local roundups such as Funcheap SF, which notes that the program includes 200+ restaurants citywide.
