
A Saturday night in East Baltimore ended with a 21-year-old man walking into a local hospital with a gunshot wound, and now detectives are trying to trace that path back to the block where they believe it started.
The man showed up at the hospital around 9:15 p.m. on April 4, according to police, and was listed in stable condition with what appeared to be a gunshot wound. Investigators say their early findings point to the 1800 block of Saint Paul Street as the likely scene of the shooting.
What police say
According to Fox Baltimore, officers responded to the hospital and found the victim suffering from the injury. As of now, investigators have not released any details about a possible suspect or motive while the case remains open. Officials told the station the man is recovering as detectives work to sort out how and why the shooting happened.
