Detectives with the Austin Police Department are asking for the public’s help tracking down a man they say attacked a woman outside Pour Choices on East Sixth Street on the night of Friday, April 10. According to investigators, the victim was pulled by the hair and kicked in the head. The case is logged under APD file number 26-1001763.
The Austin Police Department says the suspect is a heavy-set Hispanic man in his early 20s with a short haircut. He has a small tattoo on the outside of his left hand and a black-and-gray tattoo on his right arm. Officers say he was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with the letters “mf” in sequins, and the department has released surveillance images as part of the appeal.

Background on the location
Pour Choices, the bar at 401 East 6th Street, was already under a microscope before this case. In January, the city filed a nuisance-abatement lawsuit that detailed repeated incidents in and around the venue.
