A normally quiet Spring subdivision turned into an active crime scene Friday evening when a man was found dead beneath a vehicle near the Treeline Bluff Trail neighborhood in north Harris County.
Deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Treeline Bluff Trail and Beechtree Gully Lane after a neighbor called 911 to report someone unresponsive under a vehicle. Emergency medical crews arrived and pronounced the man dead at the scene. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing, and the victim's identity has not yet been released.
Officials' account
According to FOX 26 Houston, which cites Harris County Constable Precinct 4, deputies responded to an in-progress call near the intersection and discovered the man beneath the vehicle. The outlet reports that a neighbor found the person unresponsive, made the emergency call, and that EMS later pronounced him dead at the scene.
FOX 26 notes that the constable's office has not released the man's name and that detectives remained at the location as the probe continued Friday night.
