The changeover came with a fresh logo, updated online presence and new window decals, all quietly swapped in at the shopping-center spot locals have hit for years.
According to MySA, the rebrand took effect on Thursday, April 2, and marked the final Le Peep Cafe in San Antonio to make the switch. A restaurant representative told MySA, "Same power, same food, and same service," as the team flipped over its social media and rolled out the new name online.
New Name, Same Breakfast Focus
The restaurant's website, thebreakfastmill.com, now highlights the Stone Oak address, phone number and hours, with a menu still centered on pancakes, skillets and omelets. The site also features online ordering and lists the phone number (210) 499-0694 for takeout and catering.
A Place With History in Stone Oak
Part of the surprise for regulars is just how long the spot had been flying the Le Peep flag. This unit operated as a Le Peep Cafe for roughly two decades, according to MySA. Le Peep is a national breakfast chain with roots going back decades, so seeing the name come down caught the attention of longtime diners who had grown attached to the familiar lineup of dishes.
