CT Cantina & Taqueria is rolling into Medley, the mixed-use town center rising in Johns Creek, with a new roughly 4,400-square-foot restaurant overlooking the development's central plaza. The space will feature a patio and a walk-up window for to-go orders, setting it up as both a sit-down hangout and a grab-and-go taco stop.
According to What Now Atlanta, the family-run brand plans to keep most of its current menu intact while layering in specials from local chefs. Co-owner Ricardo Jaime told the outlet, "Our dad loves growth. He loves service and attention to the customer." The group is targeting a late 2026 or early 2027 opening.
Medley's retail lineup fills out
Local coverage from Urbanize Atlanta reports that Toro Development has recently signed seven retailers, including CT Cantina & Taqueria, pushing Medley’s retail leasing toward a strong majority of its footprint. That wave of deals follows earlier commitments that put Trader Joe's, Shake Shack and several regional concepts on the tenant roster, giving Johns Creek a town center that is starting to look like a full-blown dining and shopping circuit.
What CT will bring to Johns Creek
CT Cantina & Taqueria lists locations in Alpharetta, Dunwoody, Fayetteville and Dania Beach, where it leans on staples such as street tacos, fresh margaritas and house-made corn tortillas. The concept blends quick-casual service with a cocktail program, aiming to attract both the after-work crowd and daytime office traffic.
Toro Development Company describes Medley as a 43-acre, $560 million mixed-use project that will include residences, office space, a hotel and about 164,000 square feet of retail and restaurants. The developer is planning a grand opening on October 29, 2026. Per What Now Atlanta, CT Cantina & Taqueria is aiming to come online in late 2026 or early 2027 as Medley begins welcoming tenants.
