A 44-year-old North Las Vegas man is facing criminal charges after a 16-year-old reported a disturbing encounter in a restroom at Fox Hill Park in Summerlin.
Authorities identified the suspect as Jose Carballo-Gonzalez. According to court records, he was booked on three counts of open and gross lewdness. The incident reportedly happened around 11 a.m., when the teen told police he ran out of the restroom and immediately alerted friends and family.
As reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the teen told officers the man backed him into a stall, exposed himself and engaged in lewd acts. After the report, police identified Carballo-Gonzalez as a suspect, and the Review-Journal notes that court records show he was initially arrested on suspicion of attempted sexual assault.

Fox Hill Park is an 18-acre adventure park in Summerlin West, known for its playgrounds, zip lines and family-friendly amenities. It sits at 231 Antelope Ridge Drive. According to the PDGA course directory, the park’s address and disc golf layout are publicly listed.

Court records currently list three gross misdemeanor counts of open and gross lewdness against Carballo-Gonzalez. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports he denied the allegations when interviewed by police. A defense attorney could not be reached for comment, according to the same outlet.
