What was supposed to be another busy Saturday night on International Drive turned into a full-on teen takeover at Orlando’s Icon Park, with more than 1,000 teenagers flooding the entertainment complex, sparking fights and sending deputies scrambling to restore order. By the end of the night, nine people were arrested, two deputies were injured, and the crowds had to be pushed away from the Wheel and nearby restaurants and bars. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said reports of the massive gathering started coming in around 7:30 p.m.

Arrests, injuries and charges
Officials told WFTV that nine people were arrested on a range of charges, including trespass after warning, battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting an officer with violence, and resisting an officer without violence. Two deputies were injured in the ruckus. Both were taken to a hospital for treatment and were later released, according to authorities. Investigators are now combing through reports and available footage to determine whether any additional charges will follow.
