
A 20-year-old motorcyclist from Texas was killed Friday when his bike struck the back of a semi-tractor on Interstate 295 near Main Street in Jacksonville, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Troopers said the rider was pronounced dead at the scene, while the semi-truck driver, described as a 51-year-old Jacksonville man, was not injured.
