San Antonio police on Monday arrested 46-year-old Northside Independent School District teacher Cecilia Mueller on a charge of continuous sexual assault of a child. SAPD says the arrest followed a Special Victims Unit investigation and that detectives are concerned there may be additional victims. Northside ISD has placed Mueller on administrative leave while the Special Victims Unit continues its work.

According to KABB, Mueller was taken into custody following an SAPD investigation. The department’s Special Victims Unit is leading the probe and has asked anyone with information, or anyone who believes they were a victim, to call (210) 207-2313.
District confirms long tenure and campus transfer
As reported by KSAT, Northside ISD said Mueller was hired in August 2007 and taught at Bob Lewis Elementary until June 2019, then transferred to Henderson Elementary in August 2019. NISD Employee Relations has placed her on leave, and the district said it is cooperating fully with SAPD while investigators gather evidence.
