BrewLAB, a new coffee shop from owner Laureen Ballard, quietly started welcoming customers during a soft-opening weekend on April 11 and is now serving on weekends in Hutto. The shop is pouring espresso, shaken espresso, cold brew, cocoa, and matcha lattes, with plans to add small food items such as egg bites, croissants, and sausage wraps. Ballard is aiming for a full grand opening over Mother's Day weekend on May 10 after the soft-opening run through the end of April.
Soft opening and location
According to Community Impact, BrewLAB began its soft opening on April 11 and is operating on weekends out of a shop at 3333 County Road 119, Ste. 50 in Hutto. The outlet identified Laureen Ballard as the proprietor and reported that weekend hours will continue through April ahead of the planned grand opening.
Menu and ordering
Patrons can expect a lineup of espresso staples and specialty drinks, including shaken espresso, cold brew, and matcha lattes, alongside cocoa and seasonal offerings. An online menu listing on Uber Eats shows additional food items such as egg bites, lox bagels, and avocado toast, and lists daytime pickup hours.
Part of a growing retail cluster
BrewLAB occupies a storefront inside The Shoppes at Affordable Storage, part of a small-business cluster that local reporting notes has been filling up with kiosks and food vendors. Coverage of the plaza documenting other newcomers at the 3333 County Road 119 property has highlighted the storage-lot complex as a modest but growing hub for local ventures.
Where to get updates
BrewLAB collects ordering and social links on its Linktree, which the owner is using to post menu updates and hours. Community Impact reported that the grand opening is penciled in for Mother's Day weekend on May 10.
