A late-night burst of gunfire on the 1500 block of Shields Place in West Baltimore left a 20-year-old man wounded Monday, sending him to a local hospital with what police describe as non-life-threatening injuries. Officers arrived shortly after 9:30 p.m. and found the man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Hospital staff says he is expected to recover.
According to FOX45, officers were called to the block at about 9:36 p.m. on April 27 and discovered the 20-year-old, who was then transported to a nearby hospital.
Police Seek Tips
Western District detectives are running the investigation and have urged neighbors to check any home-surveillance or dash-cam footage that might have caught something useful. As is standard, investigators are canvassing the area and asking residents to share video or information that could help piece together what happened.
